Health & Safety Policy

Effective

Students are encouraged to attend classes wearing comfortable clothing that allows freedom of

movement and supports physical activity safely.

Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times during classes. Suitable options include clean trainers

or dance shoes designed for movement-based activities. Students who already own specialised dance

footwear are welcome to use it during classes.

For health and safety reasons, footwear that may increase the risk of injury, damage the studio floor, or

restrict safe movement may not be permitted at the discretion of the instructors.

Students are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate in dance activities and are

encouraged to warm up properly before and during class when instructed.

Any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations that may affect participation should be

communicated to the instructors prior to the start of class. BailArte reserves the right to recommend

modifications or temporary suspension from activities where participation may pose a safety risk to the

student or others.

All students participate in classes at their own risk and are expected to follow all health and safety

instructions provided by the BailArte teaching team at all times.
