Partnerwork & Physical Contact Policy
Effective
Many dance styles taught at BailArte involve partnerwork and physical contact as part of the learning
process. All students are expected to engage in partner activities respectfully, professionally, and with
consideration for the comfort and boundaries of others.
Students must maintain appropriate personal hygiene during classes and partner activities out of respect
for fellow dancers.
Any inappropriate touching, unwanted physical behaviour, harassment, intimidation, or conduct that
causes discomfort to another participant will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Students always have the right to decline partnering with another participant or to communicate
personal boundaries respectfully without fear of judgement or retaliation.
Instructors reserve the right to intervene, reassign partners, provide guidance, or remove students from
activities where behaviour is considered inappropriate or unsafe.
BailArte is committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment where all students can
participate comfortably and confidently.
